JOE T. GARCIA’S

Every time I start a new mural, I work up a sketch with what I’ll be painting but this project was a little different. Nevertheless, I always end up straying from the sketch and creating something different so for this project I decided I was just going to start with no plan in place. Joe T. Garcia’s wanted to add a little spice to one of their patio bars and hired me to add some color! This type of art is called Otomi and it symbolizes the harmony between humans and nature. Otomi designs traditionally include animals, plants, bright colors and thick lines. It was a pleasure working on this project for 42 hours, being able to connect with my hispanic culture and creating something unique for the biggest restaurant in Fort Worth!
